Angela Evans - Research Officer

Before joining the Mid and West Wales team of AWARD I was the Principal Action Researcher on Pembrokeshire's SHARP Project, one of seven action research projects funded by the Welsh Assembly Government under the Sustainable Health Action Research Programme. The four year study developed and evaluated a participative approach to consulting and engaging with communities about issues they perceived to affect their health and well-being. I have more than ten years Community Development experience, providing knowledge and interest in participation, consultation and engagement issues that are grounded in practical experience. I worked as a journalist for a number of years and am a volunteer with several groups in my home community. My main areas of research interest are participation, public involvement and using collaborative ways of working.
