I joined the All Wales Alliance for Research and Development in Health and Social Care (AWARD) as a Research Officer in 2005. Prior to this I spent five years working as a Senior Researcher and Writer for Which? magazine and its website. My research career began nine years ago on completion of a Masters degree in resource management which led me into transport related research in a consultancy setting. I have undertaken a broad range of research projects in a variety of settings and am experienced in using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. I am currently the Trial Co-ordinator on a £400k Department of Health funded randomised controlled trial investigating the use of technology in improving delivery of care to older people who have fallen.
