Sarah Gaze - Research Officer

I am currently employed as the CRC Cymru Special Projects Officer for the SAFER Trial (Support and Assessment of Emergency Fall Referrals). I am based within CHIRAL in the School of Medicine, Swansea University, and have previously been a member of the AWARD team. In this capacity I have worked on a range of projects, including profiling elderly people who fall but are left at home by the ambulance service and a trial of the feasibility of passing low priority 999 calls to NHS Direct. I have experience of conducting both qualitative and quantitative research and my research interests include patient outcomes and quality of life, and pathways to appropriate care.
